Delete your Scope Creep account
Scope Creep on Google Play signs you into an anonymous Unity Gaming Services account when the app starts, so that online play can tell one player from another. It holds no name, no email address and no password. This page explains how to delete it, and what happens when you do.
On Android the game also signs you in to Google Play Games, using the Google account that is already on your device, so that achievements can unlock. That is a second, separate account, and the delete button does not touch it — see what is not deleted below.
If you have never installed the mobile version, there is nothing to delete — the Steam version uses your Steam account and creates nothing of its own.
Delete it from inside the game
This is the fastest route, and it deletes the account immediately.
If your copy is an older build and does not have the button yet, use the email route below — it works today.
- Open Scope Creep.
- Go to Settings and pick the Game tab.
- Press Account.
- Press Delete account, then press it again to confirm.
The account is deleted on Unity’s servers straight away and the game signs out. The next time the app starts it will create a fresh anonymous account, because online play cannot work without one — that new account has no connection to the old one.
Delete it by writing to us
If you have already uninstalled the game, or the button will not work for you, email support@namemyz.com with the subject Delete my account.
Please include your player identifier. The game shows it on the same screen as the delete button, and tapping it copies it. Without it we have no way to tell your anonymous account apart from anyone else’s — that is the point of it being anonymous — and we will not be able to act on the request.
We reply within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
What is deleted
| Deleted | The anonymous Unity account and its player identifier |
| Deleted with it | Your membership of any online room, and the hashed identifier other players saw |
| Already gone | Chat and voice — they are never stored anywhere, by anyone, at any time |
What is not deleted, and why
- Your Play Games achievements. They belong to the Google account that Play Games signed you in with, not to the anonymous account, so deleting the anonymous account leaves them exactly where they are. We cannot reach them either. You can remove them yourself: open your Play Games profile, choose Your data, and delete the data for this game — or the whole Play Games profile, which clears every game. Google explains both.
- Saved games, settings, statistics and the log file live on your device and never reach us. Deleting the app removes them. Deleting your account does not touch them, and the offline game keeps working normally.
- Your purchase. Unlocking online play is a Google Play purchase tied to your Google account, not to the anonymous account. Deleting the anonymous account does not cancel it and does not cost you anything — press Restore purchases and the unlock comes back. We cannot delete a Google Play purchase; Google handles that.
- A report you sent us. If you pressed Report on another player, that became an email in our mailbox. It contains hashed identifiers only, never your name. Ask us in the same email and we will delete it — tell us roughly when you sent it, so that we can find it.
